Terms & Conditions & Disclosures

 1. Payments & Deposits

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
     
  • Final balance is due 7 days before the event unless otherwise stated in your contract.
     
  • All pricing is subject to sales tax and service fees.
     

2. Guest Minimums & Guarantees

  • All services are subject to a guest minimum (varies by package/service).
     
  • Once booked, the guest count may be increased but not decreased.
     
  • Final guest count is due 14 days before the event and will be used for invoicing, staffing, and food preparation.
     

3. Service Scope

  • Buffet and taco cart packages include disposable plates, cups, forks, and napkins.
     
  • China, glassware, and specialty rentals are available at an additional cost (or may be provided by client’s rental company).
     
  • Prices are not reduced if the client provides their own rentals.
     

4. Staffing

  • Waitstaff billed at $35/hr per server (6-hour minimum), overtime at $40/hr.
     
  • Setup & Breakdown teams billed starting at $450 (team of 2, up to 4 hrs); overtime $100/hr per team of 2.
     
  • Bartenders are ABC-certified and insured, billed at package rates or $60/hr (4-hr minimum).
     

5. Alcohol Service (Bartending Packages)

  • Client is responsible for providing alcohol.
     
  • Bartenders provide mixers, garnishes, disposables, and tools only if included in the selected package.
     
  • Service may be refused to underage or visibly intoxicated guests.
     

6. Coordination Services

  • Event Coordination covers day-of management. Month-of or rehearsal dinner coverage available as add-ons.
     
  • Client remains responsible for vendor contracts, agreements, and payments.
     

7. Insurance & Permits

  • Las Casuelas Catering is fully insured. Proof of insurance provided if required by venue.
     
  • Permits for catering or bar service can be secured upon request (fees may apply).
     

8. Cancellations & Changes

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
     
  • Cancellations within 30 days of the event: client responsible for full balance.
     
  • Final menu, guest count, and service changes due 14 days before event.
     

9. Venue & Travel

  • Travel fees may apply outside our service area.
     
  • Client responsible for confirming venue access, setup windows, and restrictions.
     

10. Liability

  • Not liable for issues with third-party vendors not contracted through Las Casuelas.
     
  • Not responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control (weather, outages, restrictions).
     

11. Media Release

  • Las Casuelas reserves the right to capture photos and video content at events for marketing/promotional use.
     
  • Client privacy respected; no sensitive information disclosed.
